Hey! If you follow our journey over on our instagram etc you will know that myself and Kieran love this time of year. Autumn is my favourite time, decorating our home, pumpkin picking, and getting ready and prepared for our annual Halloween party.

Heres are some of my highlights of this season so far.

Lets start with our coffee bar – I’ve received a lot of positive messages about my coffee bar this year including the lovely Laura Ashely UK which used our photo this year.

The ceramic pumpkin is of course from Laura Ashley UK (and it’s actually a soup bowl but it is great for hiding chocolates)

Glitter pumpkin is from George ASDA

Pumpkin Spoon rest is from TK Maxx but you can also get them in Macys

Welcome sign is from Amazon

Recently we have painted (I have painted) our frames and since the upcycle I decided that this corner would be bright and neon for halloween. I made this happy halloween bunting as I couldn’t find one I liked online or in shops. And also the 3 multi coloured pumpkins on the piano where white ceramic pumpkins from hobby craft which I painted using the same acrylic paints as the frames…. I have also painted faces on them and words in a glow in the dark paint ready for our halloween party.

Glow in the dark paint was gifted but you can get it from the range.

Another homemade bunting – I put a spell on you. I love this space, so cosy and warm.

We live in an apartment therefore don’t have a fire… but I do love a fake fire. Especially with a light behind the tv which gives it the illusion of warmth behind the tv. These orange nest tables where a little up cycling project and have left this space now.

This Autumn we finally finished this writing bureau, we started it last year but it’s been a mammoth project. The cleaning, the painting, the waxing and the detail painting inside the desk. We have decorated this bureau with glitter pumpkins and our halloween candles, which of course our candles are from TK maxx! They have such great quirky selection of candles in at this time of the year.

Our house rabbit Nala loves our telephone table and this is usually her spot on an evening.

The fairy lights are from ASDA George.

And the ceramic pumpkin is from B&M Stores

This year we decided we would like a wreath for our door inside our apartment. I looked everywhere! I knew I wanted an artificial one so I could reuse it every year but also knew I wanted to buy from a local business! Luckily the amazing Chloes Flower Room provided this beauty!

Her instagram handle is @chloesflowerroom

Go check her out, her wreath collection is beautiful.

Of course Autumn isn’t Autumn without our annual trip to the Lake District for a picnic. This year we chose to venture to somewhere new. We ended up at Monk Coniston. The lake was perfect and the weather chilly but cosy on our blanket. This has to be one of my favourite things to do at this time of the year. Here’s my favourite photo! Definitely for a frame this one.

For anyone who wants to know where my quirky tights are from I’ll drop this link below. Also the dress is from fat face. Perfect for the Autumn weather.

Snag Tights

That’s it for our little Autumn Memories piece. Now straight onto Thanksgiving and Christmas!!

This time of year is so busy and chaotic so please take time for yourselves to unwind and enjoy this time with family and friends.
