Copenhagen is such a beautiful city!

We ventured to Denmark for my sisters birthday present as we had bought her tickets to a gig in Copenhagen on the evening. After setting off early on the Saturday morning we made it to hotel by late afternoon. My sister was not impressed with our choice of hotel as we chose a basic cabin styled hotel. But we found that it was more than what we needed for our little trip.

We stayed in the Cabinn Scandinavia Hotel

Because there was 3 of us we had to get a family room which meant a bunk bed!

The gig was held in Tap 1 – an industrial estate. The venue was an old beer factory which is pretty cool. After watching the band (Thirty Seconds to Mars) we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the next day in Tivoli – “Europes Disney’ a 19th Century amusement park with antique rollercoasters.

The next day we woke up and headed to the Metro to get to Tivoli – the day passes are really cheap approx £8. And the metro drops you off opposite Tivoli.

We were really blessed in the way that we didn’t know that the gospel festival was happening that weekend. And to have such lovely weather was great. Chilling on the lawn listening to gospel choirs sing songs from the greatest showman was a highlight!

Heres a few of my favourite captures of the weekend…

The rides at Tivoli are really good but some are really slow like the ferris wheel which makes for a great photography opportunity!

Of course we finished the trip with a Starbucks in the station – And of course we bought our Starbucks mugs for our collection!

Thanks for looking at my trip to Copenhagen …. well trip to Tivoli!

If you get the chance to go to Copenhagen go for more than 2 days as there is so much we didn’t get to do … we will be going again!
